1. About This Promotion
Layout, Inc. ("Layout," "we," "us," "our") is offering a one-time credit of up to $7.00 toward one coffee pickup order in San Francisco during SF Tech Week 2026 (the "Promotion").
These Promotion Terms apply together with the Layout Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy (the "Layout Terms"). If these Promotion Terms and the Layout Terms conflict, these Promotion Terms control for the Promotion only. Capitalized words not defined here have the meaning given in the Layout Terms.
By opting in to or using the Promotion, you agree to these Promotion Terms.
2. Promotion Period
The Promotion starts at 12:00 AM Pacific Time on October 5, 2026, and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on October 11, 2026 (the "Promotion Period").
Your Order must be confirmed within the Promotion Period to receive the credit. Any unused credit expires at the end of the Promotion Period. We may end the Promotion early, as described in Section 8.
3. Who Can Use It and How to Opt In
The Promotion is open to new and existing Layout users who meet the eligibility rules in the Layout Terms and have a valid payment card on file.
To take part, you must opt in at layout.link/techweek during the Promotion Period. Once you opt in, the credit is added to your account automatically. You do not need a promo code.
You can use the Promotion on any Layout surface, including text message, the Layout iOS app, and supported third-party assistants and apps.
4. How the Credit Works
Amount. The credit covers up to $7.00 of one Order. It applies to the full Order total, including items, taxes, tips, and the Layout Fee.
One Order only. The credit can be used on one Order. Your Order may include more than one item.
Unused amounts are lost. If your Order total is less than $7.00, the rest of the credit is gone. For example, if your Order is $4.00, we cover the full $4.00 and the other $3.00 is forfeited. Leftover credit cannot be saved, carried over, or used on a later Order.
Amounts over $7.00. If your Order total is more than $7.00, you pay the difference. That amount is charged to your payment card on file, the same way as any other Order under the Layout Terms.
Shown before you confirm. Before you confirm, Layout will show your cart, the credit being applied, and the amount you will be charged, if any. We will not charge your card without your confirmation.
No cash value. The credit has no cash value. It cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, transferred, or combined with any other Layout promotion or credit.
5. Eligible Orders
To receive the credit, your Order must meet all of these rules:
It is a pickup Order. Delivery Orders are not eligible.
It is placed at a coffee shop or coffee-focused Merchant located in San Francisco, California.
It includes at least one coffee or espresso-based drink.
Some coffee shops we suggest include Starbucks, Blue Bottle Coffee, Philz Coffee, Sightglass Coffee, and Red Bay Coffee. These are suggestions only. These Merchants are not sponsors of the Promotion and do not endorse Layout. Merchant availability can change, and Layout does not guarantee that any Merchant will be available.
Layout decides whether an Order qualifies. If an Order does not qualify, the credit will not be applied and you will see the full total before you confirm.
6. Limits, Abuse, and Failed Orders
One per person. The Promotion is limited to one credit per person, per account, and per IP address. We may also limit use by phone number, device, or payment card. Creating extra accounts or using other methods to get more than one credit is not allowed.
Abuse. Please do not try to abuse the Promotion. If we believe you have broken these Promotion Terms, used fraud, or tried to get around our limits, we may cancel the credit, decline or cancel the Order, charge your payment card for any credit you received, or suspend your account as described in the Layout Terms.
Failed Orders. If an Order is not placed because of a Merchant or Layout issue, your credit stays on your account and can be used on another eligible Order during the Promotion Period. Once an Order is placed, the credit is used, even if you later ask to cancel it. Problems with a placed Order are handled under our Refund Policy. Refunds on a credited Order will not return cash for the credited amount.
7. No Affiliation
This Promotion is offered only by Layout, Inc. It is not sponsored, endorsed, or run by SF Tech Week, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), or any Merchant, and Layout has no legal affiliation with them. All names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe the event timing and suggested Merchants.
8. Changes and Ending the Promotion
We may change, pause, or end the Promotion at any time, for any reason, including if a budget or redemption limit is reached. If we do, we will update this page. Credits already used on placed Orders will not be taken back unless Section 6 applies.
9. General
The Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Section 26 (Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver) and Section 28 (Governing Law) of the Layout Terms and Conditions apply to the Promotion. The Promotion is governed by California law.
