  This place sucks. We come here every couple weeks and every time our take out takes 20 extra mins to be ready. So at least 40 mins for a taco plate. There is absolutely no one here so no reason to take that long when everything is premade, all they have to do is put it on a plate. They are lazy and have terrible employees who don’t do their jobs. Embarrassing to have a place like this in the community. Adds to Carmichael’s bad name.

  Was super excited to try this place out! I was impressed when I walked in the door at the fast service, the wonderful smells that filled the air and how yummy the food looked! My friends ordered burritos that looked so amazing!! I ordered the quesabirria tacos with the consume, and I was asked if I wanted everything, I said yes. Everything meant cilantro and onions. I can appreciate the flavors from both the cilantro and the onion but in moderation. I was so excited to get my food, and from the looks of it, I couldn't wait to take a bite! I was disappointed to bite into what tasted like an onion taco. There was SO much onion. Like, it was ridiculous. Also, very little meat, BUT as I bit into it, there was a chunk of something in my first taco that was so gross that I had to spit it out. I looked at the chunk, and it looked like meat, but it certainly didn't taste like meat. Blehh!! I was totally skeptical to eat anymore, so I opened up all 3 of my tacos and emptied out all the onions. Thankfully, there were no more chunks of anything. I enjoyed the dipping sauce and the cheese in the tacos. I will go back but I won't order that dish again unless I get it without onions.

Now, let's talk about the food – outstanding! I opted for the veggie burrito, and it was a flavor explosion. The ingredients were fresh, and the combination of flavors was simply mouthwatering. Each bite felt like a journey through the rich culinary traditions of Mexico. The salsa and chips deserve a special mention. The salsa was vibrant and had the perfect balance of spices, while the chips were crispy and served as the ideal accompaniment. It's evident that the attention to detail in the preparation of every dish sets Don Quixote's apart. Overall, my visit to Don Quixote's Mexican Grill was a delightful experience, and I can't wait to go back.   Don Quixote is a clean friendly Restaurant with many options. Today I tried the Machaca Breakfast Burrito bowl with Shredded beef, sautéed onions, tomatoes, eggs w/refried beans , Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese. I got it to go so I could enjoy it at home. It was really good with good flavor. However I didn’t realize by using my credit card they charge and extra fee of .33 which is a bummer. ☹️
